Real Estate & Planning Graduates Celebrated at Royal Berkshire Property Awards

Royal berks property awards 136

On Thursday 7th November, over 200 property professionals from firms across the Thames Valley gathered in Reading Town Hall for the Royal Berkshire Property Awards 2024.

The winning group - Emily Cann, Farah Shah, Gigi Yim, Matthew Heath, and William Longe, were judged by a panel of expert industry guest practitioners and won an award for the 'Best Final Year Undergraduate Development and Planning Project'. The objective of the project was to identify a potential site in the Thames Valley and devise a substantial mixed-use development scheme proposal. The project required teams to take on specialist roles covering land acquisition, planning policy, scheme design, market analysis and project management and work through the development process from identifying a range of suitable sites right through to scheme implementation.

They were joined by staff co-Head of Department Eamonn D’Arcy, Careers Consultant Jane Batchelor, RREF Executive Director Kerry Johnston and the Development & Planning Project leads Victor Nicholls and Mark Dobson to celebrate their success.
