Henley Business School remains largest provider of Level 7 SLA

Henley Business School and the University of Reading is pleased to report it has maintained its position as the largest HEI provider of the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship, according to data published by the Education Skills Funding Agency.

Henley has worked hard to ensure its Senior Leader Apprenticeship (SLA) programmes are aligned to the new standard, which replaced the Level 7 Senior Leader Master’s Degree Apprenticeship in March 2021.

The first SLA programme started in Summer 2021 and was the SLA: Business Administration, with the SLA: Future Leaders starting in Autumn 2021. The new the SLA: Leadership starts this Spring.

Dr Anne Dibley, Head of Post-Experience and Apprenticeship Programmes said:

“The diversity of the organisations we work with across sectors and the diversity of our apprentices create a rich and stimulating learning environment.

"The end-point assessment achievement rates are higher than the national average, and it’s rewarding to hear from the learners and our company clients about the immediate impact the apprenticeship experience has had for them both parties.”

Henley is the third-largest HEI provider of apprenticeships

In addition to the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeships, Henley works with clients to offer a range of management and digital apprenticeship programmes. As a result of this partnership with clients and their employees, Henley was the third-largest HEI apprenticeship training provider in 2020/21.
