FT Executive MBA Ranking 2021

FT EMBA ranking 2021

This year’s Financial Times Executive MBA Ranking, published today, sees Henley rated as the top UK 91Ƶַschool for student satisfaction for our flagship Global Executive MBA programme.

Alumni were asked to rate, out of 10, their overall satisfaction with the programme, feedback from which saw Henley placed no.1 in the UK, no.11 in Europe and no.31 in the world for this measure, published alongside the ranking.

As a 91Ƶַschool we are strong advocates for equity, diversity and inclusion and we are delighted to be ranked no.1 in the UK and No.4 in Europe and the world for the percentage of women in our full-time faculty. We also maintained a strong position in the world top 20 for the percentage of international students (71%).

Following on from our PRME report to the United Nations earlier this month, we are proud that Henley’s commitment to corporate social responsibility is reflected in the FT EMBA ranking. We have been ranked no.2 in the UK, no.17 in Europe, and no.30 in the world based on the proportion of core courses dedicated to environment, social and governance issues.

Henley is ranked in the European top 30 for career progress, salary increase, student work experience and aims achieved. This is a testament to the quality of our programme content and our outstanding careers and professional development service. Our learners’ success is also evident in the high salary percentage increases that graduates command three years after completing their Executive MBA. The FT calculates an average increase for learners of 55% (no.7 in UK and no.24 in Europe).

We are pleased to see Henley ranked highly for international course experience (no.6 in the UK and no.34 in Europe) which reflects our global syllabus and study visits. As part of our Global MBA, our international cohort from the UK, Finland, Denmark and Germany come together for workshops in Henley and Copenhagen. The programme also includes immersive international study experiences in which students work with NGOs or charities in South Africa and with high growth companies in the USA, to make a direct impact on organisations grappling with critical social issues and with challenges relating to internationalisation.

Overall, the ranking places Henley in the UK top 10 and European top 30 91Ƶַschools (no.7 in the UK and no.29 in Europe respectively).

Dr Anne Dibley, Head of Post-Experience Postgraduate Programmes, said:

We are delighted to be rated no.1 in the UK for overall satisfaction. This is of paramount importance to us, as we work hard to give our students an immersive programme that delivers the personal and professional growth that they seek. So many students tell us that their Henley Executive MBA - Global is a life-changing experience. The inspiring, collaborative work that takes place between our students and South African NGOs, tackling complex social issues, enables our students to see the world through a fresh lens. This helps create a deeply rewarding personal and professional development journey that makes our Executive MBA – Global programme unique.”
